Hi everyone. Joyce and I would like to thank everyone who came out to our Hillcrest 50th anniversary celebration and made it a smashing success. Over 75 former employees and family members showed up to enjoy the camaraderie not to mention the cake.

I would like to thank everyone who bought my book "The Last Whistle" and hope you have enjoyed following the history of Hillcrest from the early days of Sahtlam until the last days of September 1968 when they closed their doors forever.

Thank you all for keeping the "Spirit of Hillcrest" alive and well. See you again next year.
